SCHOOLS across the region will be affected by strike action on Wednesday, February 1.
Gloucestershire County Council has put together a list of the schools which have so far confirmed that they will close, plus with notes from the schools to say whether it's a full or partial closure.
Archway School - It will only remain open for students in years 11, 12 and 13 and for some with particular needs who will also be invited to attend on this day.
All other students from year groups 7 to 10 inclusive will be asked to remain at home where they can access work set online via the SatchelOne website.
Berkeley Primary School - Year 1, Year 3 and Year 4 will be closed.
Brimscombe C of E Primary School - Y2/3 Y4/5 Y6 closed due to industrial action
Calton Primary School - Playgroup, Reception, Year 1 and Indigo Class are open as normal.
Chosen Hill School - Will be partially closed to all groups other than Y11, Y13 and for some vulnerable students who have been contacted.
All other students in Y7 to Y10 have been asked to remain at home where they can access work set online.
Coopers Edge School - Partially closed Y4 and Ospreys are closed all day. Owls class are able to attend from 12.
Ellwood Community Primary School - The following classes will be closed on 1st February: Oak (EYFS) Year 1 Year 3 Year 4 Year 5 (Willow year 5s only can attend for the afternoon session 1pm-3.15pm) C
Classes/Year groups open: Year 6 (all day) Willow year 5s for the afternoon session 1pm-3.15pm only) Year 2 - morning only (8.45am-12.15pm)
Elmbridge Primary School - Only open between 11:30am and 1:15pm to enable the following pupils to have a hot meal.
Their identified vulnerable children (for example, if they have a child in need or child protection plan, an EHCP or are a young carer, etc.)
Those children who receive benefit-related free school meals (i.e. those who qualify for pupil premium funding)
Farmor's School - Will only be open for students in years 10,11,12 and 13, and for some with particular needs who will also be invited to attend on this day.
All other students from year groups 7 to 9 inclusive will be asked to remain at home where they can access any work that has been set on SMHW.
Foxmoor Primary School - The he following classes will be closed to all students: Class 1 (Reception) Class 2 (Year 1) Class 3 (Year 1/2) Class 4 (Year 2) Class 5 (Year 3)
Gastrells Community Primary School - Due to the industrial action, the school will be closed on Wednesday, 1st of February.
Maidenhill School - Due to industrial action, only Year 11 students should attend school.
Students in Years 7 - 10 should complete remote learning at home via Satchel:One.
Marling School - will be partially closed.
All Year 11 students are expected to attend as normal.
Year 13 students attendance is optional (all Y13 Art students are expected to attend).
School is closed to other year groups.
Remote learning will be provided for all timetabled lessons being taught by teachers working that day (communicated through Edulink).
Arrangements for vulnerable students and critical workers children will be sent by email.
Meadowside Primary School - Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 6 closed due to industrial action.
Minchinhampton Primary Academy - The following classes will be closed on the 1st February: Teal, Aqua, Azure, Cyan, Turquoise, Sky.
Nursery will be open on the 1st February.
Rednock School - Due to the industrial action, the school will be closed to all year groups with the exception of years 11 and 13 and all students with EHCP's.
Rodmarton School - Due to the industrial strike, the school will be closed on Wednesday, the 1st of February.
Sapperton Primary School - Closed due to industrial action.
St. White's School - The whole school will be closed on Wednesday 1st February.
The Cotswold School - Is open as usual for all year groups.
The Shrubberies School - The Shrubberies and Apperley Centre will be partially closed due to industrial action by NEU teachers on the 1st February 2023.
Violet Class - M2 (Main School) and FE3 (Apperely Centre) will be closed to students on this day. All other children can attend school.
Further updates will be sent out to parents if this changes.
Thomas Keble School - As a result of strike action on Wednesday 1st February, the school will be partially closed.
They will be open for Year 7, Year 11 and all students with an EHCP.
Tibberton Community Primary School - School will be partially closed due to strike action on 1st February. Nursery, Sparrows, Puffins, Barn Owls and Eagle Class are open as normal.
Tredworth Infant and Nursery Academy - Partially closed due to industrial action.
School will be open to key and vulnerable children, who will be notified in advance.
Upton St. Leonards Primary School - The school will only open to; Year 6, who they are prioritising due to taking national examinations; Year 3; 2W and 5W.
Westbury-on-Severn Primary School - Partially closed
Sycamore and Oak Classes will close at 1pm.
Other classes remain open as usual.
We will update this list again on Tuesday, January 31, ahead of Wednesday's strike.
