Stroud's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 10pm January 3 to 6am February 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 9 to junction 20 mobile lane closure for Central Reservation Work.
And a further nine closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 9pm January 24 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 11 to 12 - lane closures for road markings renewal.
• M5, from 10pm January 25 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 12 to junction 11A - lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 10pm January 25 to 6am January 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 12 entry slip road closed for electrical work, diversion via A38, M5, junction 13.
• M5, from 9pm January 26 to 6am January 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, Gloucester Services exit and entry slip road closure - for road markings renewal.
• M5, from 9pm January 26 to 6am January 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 11a to 12 - lane closures for road markings renewal.
• M5, from 10pm January 30 to 6am February 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 9 to junction 20 mobile works IPV for Central Reservation Work.
• M5, from 9pm February 3 to 6am February 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 12 lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 8pm February 6 to 6am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 to 13 lane closure for barrier works.
• M5, from 8pm February 6 to 6am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 13 to 14 lane closures for barrier works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
