Officers investigating an assault in Stroud have issued CCTV footage of a group of people they would like to identify in connection with the incident.
It was reported that a man was walking along High Street when he was approached by a group of people and hit over the head with a glass bottle.
The group ran off towards the Shambles area and were described as being 16 or 17 years old.
The group was made up of two males and one female.
The assault took place at around 8.15pm on Wednesday 7 December and left the man with facial injuries which required treatment at hospital.
It is believed the group had followed the victim as he walked along Gloucester Street and onto High Street before the assault happened.
Officers are continuing to investigate and anyone who recognises those within the footage or who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police is asked to make contact.
