STROUD POLICE have issued a warning regarding frozen lakes following a national tragedy.
This warning follows the news that three boys aged eight, 10 and 11, who fell through ice in the Babbs Mill lake, Solihul, Midlands, died, while a fourth boy, aged six, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
A six-year-old boy who fell through the ice into a lake in the West Midlands is still fighting for his life as a community tries to come to terms with the tragedy, which left three children dead.
Stroud police said: "Please do not walk on frozen lakes, ponds, canals and reservoirs under any circumstances.
