RICHARD E GRANT released an emotional video after decorating his Christmas tree for the first time since his wife's death.
The actor - who lives near Nailsworth - has recently released a memoir entitled A Pocketful Of Happiness.
"My wife and I were both avowed Christmas-holics," said Grant on the video published on social media.
"It's been very nostalgic to put up our first tree since she died 14 months ago.
"My daughter and I unpacking all the decorations over all these decades...
"To everyone who has lost someone and is going through their first Christmas tree without them...I wish you all the courage that it takes.
"While it is sad it is also incredibly life enhancing and memory charged.
"Enjoy yours."
