Brexit
After six years of searching I have finally seen a Brexit dividend. Imports from the EU used to come to the UK at no cost to the consumer that I am aware of. My son has just been billed £57.20 for an import from Germany composed of Customs duty £11.36, Import VAT £33.94, and Clearance fee £12.00. So a long-promised dividend has arrived for the Treasury, sadly with as much benefit to the ordinary person as the rest of the sorry mess.
