I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! returned to our screens last night and a royal made an appearance.
Mike Tindall, known for his rugby career, is married to the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall.
Tindall, who lives at Gatcombe Park near Stroud, signed up for the ITV show which has returned to Australia after two series were filmed in Wales due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first episode aired last night (November 6) and it wasn’t long until viewers saw Tindall get stuck into a challenge.

Mike Tindall took on his first I'm A Celeb challenge
Joined by Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver and Owen Warner from Hollyoaks, Tindall took part in his first challenge of the series last night.
The three were split from other campmates and were tasked with rowing a boat until they reached three different points.
At each point, each celebrity had to find a code to unlock a padlock each.
Mike was up first and had to submerge himself in the water and enter an upturned boat.

In true I’m A Celebrity style, Mike wasn’t alone in the upside down boat as there were many spiders, one of which found itself crawling on his head.
Under the boat, letters of the alphabet were written, each with a number beside them and since the boat was called Maud, Tindall and the team had to find the number which matched each of the four letters to reveal the code.
Tindall flew through the challenge and cracked the code.
