A WARNING was given after different species of animals were targeted by dogs in a Stroud park.
Cainscross Town Council has put out a statement following a couple of incidents.
"Unfortunately, we have noticed a couple of incidents where pigeons and squirrels in particular have been targeted by dogs in the park.
"Sadly, a number have passed away as a result.

"Please, if you own or walk a dog that you know enjoys this kind of pastime, you MUST keep them on a lead."
