A FESTIVAL for independent coffee traders will take place in Stroud next month.
Traders from Rough Hands, Woodruffs, The Long Table, Felt, Little Ginger, Sub Rooms, Noni's Roasters, Mills Cafe, Salt Bakehouse, Golden Sheep, Coffee Lada and Meadows will be there.
Events will include cocktails, coffee tasting, live music, barista competition and a maker market.
The event is set to run between Saturday, October 29 and Monday, October 31.
More information about the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
Last month it was reported that global Coffee chain Starbucks was to open a new branch in Stroud which caused a backlash among residents and independent coffee traders.
Stroud is well-known for its independent coffee shops and culture.
Woodruffs - located in the High Street - is believed to be the UK's first organic cafe.
The independent coffee festival is the latest festival to be held in Stroud, following the Food and Drink Festival, Book Festival and Theatre Festival, among others.
The Theatre Festival is due to take place this weekend from Friday, September 16 until Sunday, September 18.
