A GYM in Stroud has been forced to close due to flooding. 

Fifth Dimension at Ebley Wharf is temporarily closed today, Wednesday, and has been shut since yesterday evening after the heavy rain. 

Posting on Facebook last night, the gym said: “We are sorry to announce we have had to close temporarily due to the heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding.

“We will be open again for you as soon as we are able and will keep you posted. 

“Thanks for your understanding.”

Staff posted this morning that they are waiting for flooded areas to dry out before reopening. 

“Unfortunately we have had to remain closed today, Wednesday, as the flooded areas dry out.

“We apologise for the inconvenience but our aim is to be open again tomorrow. 

“Thanks so much for your patience.”
