A NEW summer activity perfect for Instagram photo opportunities has opened.
A family-run farm in Leonard Stanley has opened an attraction where people can take a walk through a beautiful field of sunflowers, take pictures and learn more about pollination.
This secluded hidden field is full of sunshine and dazzling flowers and has already been popular with families, photographers and dog walkers.
Priory Farm said in a Facebook statement: “We’re open again this weekend.
“It’s going to be warm so don’t forget your hats and suncream.
“Thank you to everyone who has already braved the heat and came to pick sunflowers, it was so lovely to see you all.”
Visitors will also be able to pick their flowers and enjoy a coffee and a cake in the sunshine when independent takeaway coffee shop the Picnic Box comes to the field.
The site on Church Road will be open every Saturday and Sunday throughout August and opening from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors who want bunches of the flowers are advised to bring their own scissors.
Picnic Box will come to the field on Sunday, August 14, Saturday, August 20 and Saturday, August 27.
