A NEW summer activity perfect for Instagram photo opportunities is opening this weekend.
A farm in Leonard Stanley is opening an attraction where people can take a walk through a beautiful field of sunflowers, take pictures and learn more about pollination.
Visitors will have the option to buy fresh sunflowers directly from the field at Priory Farm for £5 for 6 stems.
Priory Farm said in a statement: “Our beautiful sunflower field is finally opening, please come along to pick your own or just enjoy the flowers.
“We are excited to share our beautiful sunflowers with you all and can’t wait to meet you.”
The farm has also partnered up with King's Stanley Playgroup to raise money for the playgroup with families being able to book professional photography sessions.
The site on Church Road will be open every Saturday and Sunday throughout August and opens this Sunday August 7 from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors who want bunches of the flowers are advised to bring their own scissors.
To book photo sessions see King's Stanley Playgroup on Facebook.
