STROUD Pride was celebrated yesterday with a huge community picnic.
Miss Lucy Luscious Lips hosted the event that included stalls, facepainting, LQBTQ+ information, a wellness tent, tombola, bars and music from a number of bands.
Locals took along a picnic to enjoy the day that kicked off at 12pm in the park.
Stroud Pride began in 2018 with a summer picnic aiming to bring the LGBTQ+ community in the town together.
A spokeperson for Pride said: "Since then, we’ve grown to become an organisation operating year ’round.
"Our vision is to celebrate Stroud’s acceptance of our LGBTQ+ community, making Stroud a beacon of acceptance and tolerance. We want to ensure Stroud is town where everyone can feel safe and proud to be themselves."
Simon Pizzey captured the day in pictures.
