A WELL-KNOWN pub near Stroud has announced that it will shut, leaving locals devastated.
The pub in question will close on Saturday.
The White Hart - a pub and bed and breakfast in Leonard Stanley, near Stroud - will shut on Saturday after a decade in business.

A short statement on their Facebook page said: "Mike would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 10 years.
"We will miss all of our customers."
Locals have been commenting on the Facebook post to share their reaction to the news.
One said: "Spent most of my life in there and that was with Mike and the gang.
"Thanks for the memories as there’s been some special characters in there who are no longer with us, too many to name but miss them all."
Another said: "Awfully sad news.
"The pub has been central to so many local people getting to know one another over the years and particularly supportive of elderly customers."
