AN ALERT was sent out regarding scammers circulating in a village near Stroud.
Door to door salesmen selling poor quality items for enflamed prices, sometimes can be forceful.
Incidents have taken place in Eastington, near Stroud.
To sell items 'door to door' individuals need a licence from the local authority, this is known as a peddlers licence.
Please help officers raise awareness of this scam by informing your elderly or vulnerable relatives, friends and neighbours.
Anyone who feels forced or uneasy please contact the police on 101.
