A GLOBAL pizza chain is opening in Stroud.
Papa John's has been given permission to open a store in London Road.
The American pizza restaurant chain has been given planning permission by Stroud District Council to change the use of the building which was formerly a hairdressers.
The location of the new store - is Shop 4, Clarendon Court, London Road - next to the town council office.
Planning permission was given in April while the application was sent in February.
According to this application, the opening times are expected to be between 11am and 11pm every day of the week.

What is Papa John's?
It is the fourth largest pizza delivery restaurant chain in the United States.
According to the company's website, there are more than 5,000 Papa Johns locations in 45 countries.
Currently, there are two Papa John's in Gloucester, seven in the Bristol area and one in Chipping Sodbury.
