WORK is currently being done in Bank Gardens in Lansdown.
Although the popular gardens remain open, workers from Wilkinson Environmental will be in location all week.
The work began on Monday - workers are due to be there until Friday.
Pedestrian access on that side of the street, as the below image shows, is restricted.
Motorists driving up from Gloucester Street to Lansdown should also be aware of any obstructions in the road and should drive around the corner carefully.
A spokesperson from Wilkinson Environmental said that the workers are there for drain lining.

What is drain lining?
Drain lining involves lining the inside of a drain with a polymer lining which then bonds to the inside of the pipe.
It has been likened to manually building an extra pipe within the existing drainpipe.
