THE new name for the Imperial Hotel in Stroud was revealed yesterday.
This comes as the nineteenth century building was listed as Grade II as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
It was revealed on BBC Points West that the hotel will be known as The Stroud.
Double edged sword for developers behind The Imperial in Stroud. It’s one of six in the country given special listed status for the Queen’s Jubilee. But it’ll push budget to nearly 2m to turn it into a boutique hotel. Tonight we’ll also reveal the new name Points West! pic.twitter.com/fdLE4fCcxk
