The Georgian Tearoom
Tripadvisor rating: 4.5/5
Number of ‘excellent’ reviews: 33
Location: 1 Rowcroft, Stroud, GL5 3BA
One reviewer wrote: “Spur of the moment decision to go out for Sunday breakfast and what a good choice we made! The ambience as soon as you walk in is one of tranquility, the welcome from the owner was warm and friendly. My husband chose the large English breakfast with tea and I chose the standard English breakfast with coffee.
"The large breakfast is just what it says, large! The standard breakfast was just perfect. Both beautifully cooked and presented, sausages tasty and meaty, eggs were delicious as was the bacon. Tea was real tea, no tea bags here, coffee freshly brewed in a cafetière. The owner was a delight to talk to yet not intrusive. Overall absolutely perfect. How I wish I could have found room for the freshly made lemon cheesecake........another day.”
