BBcare10
Working for BBcare10 is an amazing opportunity to join a family and not just an employer. The ethos of the company and the reason for it’s opening is personal to both of the owners and is independently run by just the two of them.
This means every approach from Nikki and Owen is unlike other care companies, they are caring and passionate about what we do and understand the needs of the employees as well as the needs of their business, but most importantly they care about the needs of the children and young people and their families.
We support children and young people in their own homes and out in the community, we want to make a difference to the whole family life, we want the young people we support to have fulfilling fun days with us. We provide ideas for activities and make sure these happen, we go to scouts, the cinema, bowling, swimming and much more!
We can be a helping hand for families going in for a couple of hours or give them a whole weekend break. Nikki and Owen offer ongoing training and development and career progression, and always promote within the company, review pay frequently and have incentive bonuses, one of my favourites is the staff of the month award which is BBcare10’s way of saying thank you for the hard work of the staff, we are very much a family team and have congratulations for everyone who is doing well.
We all have the opportunity to discuss anything we need to with regular one to one’s and staff meetings, our ideas are welcomed by management and implemented. Team building days and Christmas parties are brilliant and our open days at the office for all of our children and young people are ever better.
We have a farm and a hydrotherapy pool at the office and all of our children and young people and staff are welcome. Seeing the changes in our young people and their happiness is the best part of the job, knowing we have made a positive impact on them and their lives is why we are here.
