EASTER is only a few weeks away and pupils in Stonehouse are preparing for an Easter bunny hunt.
Children at Stonehouse Park Infant and Junior Schools are decorating 15 large bunnies, which will be placed around Stonehouse over the Easter weekend, from Friday, April 15 to Monday, April 18.
The event has been organised by the Stonehouse Park Federation PTA, and maps priced at £3 showing the locations of the bunnies are available to buy from the infant and junior schools and Hurns Hardware on Stonehouse High Street.
Those taking part can visit each bunny, make a note of its accompanying letter, and then unscramble the themed phrase.
When completed, entries can be posted in to the box on the last bunny for a chance to win an Easter hamper.
Three winners will be drawn at random from all the correct entries.
There will be ice creams and cakes available to buy at selected times over the weekend on the memorial green. Local businesses are supporting the event by sponsoring a bunny.
Pictured here are some images of last years bunnies, painted in the theme of heroes.
Each class at Stonehouse Park Juniors, Infants and nursery have again decorated a bunny this year and 2022's theme is Julia Donaldson stories, such as The Gruffalo.
