Fat Toni's Pizzeria in Stroud has been give a new food hygiene rating
The Stroud takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Fat Toni's Pizzeria, a takeaway at Unit E, Merrywalks Shopping Centre, King Street, Stroud was given the score after assessment on February 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Officers grade the establishments 0 – 5 by measuring standards in hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities, and building and management of food safety.
The food hygiene rating reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of the inspection and is not a guide to food quality.
What do the awards mean:
• Zero – Urgent improvement necessary.
• One – Major improvements necessary.
• Two – Improvements necessary.
• Three – Generally Satisfactory.
• Four – Good on assessment.
• Five – Seen as very good.
Fat Toni' rating means that of Stroud's 85 takeaways with ratings, 49 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
There are four Fat Toni's restuarants in Gloucestershire that are all independently owned and managed. The Quedgeley and Bishops Cleeve stores have a food hygiene rating of five, while the Cheltenham takeaway has a rating of four.
