Wave of Stagecoach cancellations in Stroud today, Monday

There were a mass of bus cancellations on Thursday and Friday. 

When we approached Stagecoach about it last week, Rachel Geliamassi, Managing Director at Stagecoach West, said: “We apologise to customers in Stroud that have been inconvenienced by disruption to some of our routes.

"We are experiencing some service cancellations because of driver sickness caused by COVID-19.

“We have put in place several measures which we expect to help deliver a more reliable service in the weeks ahead.

"As well as drafting in resources from other depots, we are busy recruiting a new team of drivers who will shortly complete their training programme.

“We will continue to keep customers updated through our app and Twitter to help them plan their journeys."
