THE FIRST episode of the Channel 5 series which is following Gloucestershire Police on night shift aired last night.
Police: Night Shift 999 is a six-part series focusing exclusively on the Gloucestershire police force.
A knifepoint carjacking and the coordinated police response that led to the robber being put behind bars within hours was just one of the stories featured in the first of a brand new Channel 5 series following the constabulary’s night shift.
Last night's episode showed the carjacking as well as a further stolen vehicle.
Twitter users gave their impression of the opening episode of the series.
