CHRISTMAS is fast approaching and over the next week people in Stroud will still have several opportunities to visit Christmas markets.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week the Christmas markets will continue with present ideas from a wide range of makers, artists and food producers.
These will take place between 9am and 4pm.
On Thursday, December 23 the last Farmers’ Market of the year will take place where you can pick up the freshest food possible for the Christmas table and finish the rest of your shopping.
This farmers' market will take place between 9am and 2pm.
These extra markets started last Friday (December 17) with the Shambles market.
On Saturday, the year’s biggest farmers’ market took place, and with the Shambles also on, there were over 100 market traders to buy from.
For those who preferred a quieter day for Christmas shopping, the annual Christmas markets in the Cornhill Market Square took place on Sunday 19 at 10am with most shops in town open also.
