A football fan has been given a three-year banning order after running onto the pitch during a Swindon Town match.
Andrew Thomas interrupted a match between Newport County and Swindon Town at Rodney Parade in November.
Thomas, of The Bulwarks, Minchinhampton, pleaded guilty at Newport Magistrates Court on December 6.
He was fined £400 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £40 as well as costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The 29-year-old has been banned from entering a specific area from three hours before to two hours after any matches played at Swindon Town FC.
He must also not travel within four miles of any stadium where Swindon Town or the England national side are playing for the same period of three hours before kick-off and two hours after the final whistle.
