The covid enforced lockdowns inspired a chef to take up making patisseries.
“I decided during lockdown to start building a name for myself and a reputation for the future when I hopefully have my own place,” said Josh Ambridge, of Choux Bun Appétit.
“I was previously a chef and fell in love with the classic and modern French cuisine. “
Josh is based in Coaley, near Dursley and Stroud and focuses on using seasonal/local ingredients.
"We our own hens for eggs, grow the herbs/flowers for garnishes and everything is homemade and fresh. “
“We offer Éclairs, Choux buns, Macarons, afternoon teas and celebration cakes.”
“I'm always at local markets around Gloucestershire and offer monthly events for deliveries.”
“I also take customised orders during the week.”
