STROUD’S Site Festival is back this month - from September 18 to 26.
There will exhibitions and events at SVA, the Sub Rooms, Studio 18, Victoria Works and the Gloucestershire Printmaking Cooperative.
At the heart of the festival is the Site open studios, when over 100 artists will be showing their work in 37 open studio locations over two weekends.
The open studios will take place this Saturday and Sunday (September 18 and 19) and on September 25 and 26.
There will be a taster exhibition at Stroud Brewery, offering visitors the opportunity to see one piece of work by each of the Open Studio artists to help plan studio visits over the two weekends.
And Greer Pester, a Scottish visual and social artist, will be resident at SVA and will be running free kids workshops this weekend (September 18 and 19).
Her colourful palette takes enrichment from many years living and working in Mexico.
For the following weekend, The Women’s Art Activation System is inviting the public to contribute artworks to The Bureau for the Validation of Art in the John Street Gallery.
