Veterans have been invited to a party at Gatcombe Park this week.
Two drive-in concerts entitled ‘Forgot You Not Rock’ are taking place at the famous venue on Thursday.
The Not Forgotten, a British Armed Forces charity which supports serving and ex-service men and women is touring the concert around the UK.
The drive-in concerts will feature live music from across the decades, dancing, games, a raffle and a barbecue.
Bluetooth speakers will be provided to each vehicle so the music can be enjoyed whatever the weather. Otherwise, guests are encouraged to bring picnic chairs/blankets.
It is hoped the free event will boost the morale of those who have suffered with loneliness and isolation during recent months.
More than 200 veterans and their guests are invited to the events, taking place between 11.30am–2pm and 4.30pm-7pm.
The dress code is smart casual, garden party attire or rock 'n' roll and a prize will be given to the most innovative outfit.
