Rain has been pelting the Cotswolds this morning and the Met Office expects it to continue.
The maximum temperature might be 17 degrees, but save your walks for later as heavy rain and thunder is set to continue.
Later in the afternoon, the rain should spread east allowing some drier and sunnier spells to develop, according to the Met Office.
The night will starts off dry and cold with clear spells, with a band of rain then approaches during the early hours.
Rain will continue on Thursday, heavy and persistent at times, and overnight
Winds are expected to pick up, with coastal gales developing overnight.
Friday will remain wet with strong winds and coastal gales, turning severe at times.
Calmer into Saturday, with showers and sunny spells. Unsettled again Sunday, with another band of rain arriving.
