A crash on the M5 from Stroud to Hardwicke has resulted in three miles of congestion.
Gloucestershire police and Highways England attended a collision this morning which left the front of a car unrecognisable and blocked lanes on the M5.
The incident occurred northbound between Junction 13, for Stroud, and Junction 12, for Quedgeley and Hardwicke, this morning at around 8am, but all lanes have now been reopened.
There is a 30 minute delay to journeys on this route, according to Highways England.
“Traffic is still heavy in the area due to the incident so please take care and stay safe. Thank you for your patience,” they wrote on Twitter.
