Cheltenham General Hospital's A&E is one of a number of NHS services that will reopen in the next three months as Covid cases decline.
A decision has been made to open the service by July 1 at the latest by Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
The A&E has been closed since the start of the pandemic, with Gloucestershire Royal Hospital receiving emergency cases.
The BBC reports that other services to be reopened include the Aveta Birth Centre at Cheltenham General Hospital and the Tewkesbury Minor Injury and Illness Unit from March 8 and April 1 respectively.
