Although most pupils are not back at school until next week, they have still been getting into the spirit of World Book Day by getting dressed up as their favourite literary character.
Hopelands Preparatory School in Stonehouse but their own twist on things by running a competition for children to decorate a door in their home as a book cover.
Many of the children based their creations on their favourite books, with some of them also dressing up as characters.
