FIT OUT work has begun on a new coffee shop at Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud.
Rough Hands Coffee, headed up by Samuel Humphris, will serve high quality, speciality coffee from both local and global roasters.
This new coffee shop will showcase house and guest espressos as well as filter options, plus a selection of retail beans and a menu of vegan baked goods and pastries sourced from local businesses.
Home brewing classes will also be available in the evenings once safe to do so.
Situated in the main mall area close to the King Street entrance, Rough Hands Coffee will be located in the former FoneFixers unit as part of the ongoing major redevelopment project of the Five Valleys Centre.
Rough Hands Coffee is Samuel’s first business venture after gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills in the coffee industry over the past decade.
Samuel said: “As a local resident, I am thrilled to be joining the line-up of fantastic businesses at Five Valleys later this year.
“Sourcing and sharing the very best in speciality coffee is my passion, I can’t wait to open the doors to Rough Hands Coffee and welcome the local community.”
