STROUD District Council is generating extra income by letting out office space at Ebley Mill.

One of the council’s aims in its corporate delivery plan is to create opportunities for income generation to help the council achieve financial self-sufficiency.

And as a result, a number of office suites are now available for rent to external organisations.

Catalyst Finance moved its head office to an office suite in Ebley Mill in October 2019.

The Stroud-based firm was founded in 2012 to provide funding solutions to small and medium businesses across the UK.

Martine Catton, CEO of the company said: “We are a proud member of the Stroud business community and finding such fantastic premises in the area enables us to provide our employees with a professional and conducive work environment.

"I’m delighted to have made our new home at Ebley Mill, the space we have taken will allow us to grow the business and accommodate our plans for the foreseeable future.”

A 393 square metre self-contained open plan office suite at Stroud District Council’s offices at Ebley Mill with a private entrance, toilets, kitchenette, allocated parking and canal view is available now.

Ebley Mill was once the largest mill in the south west of England.

The 200-year-old Grade II listed building was bought by Stroud District Council in 1986 and converted to office accommodation for its staff.

Further office suites within Ebley Mill are also available for rent from approximately 308 to 487 square metres.
