Two men who were arrested following an incident outside Gloucester Rugby Club, in Kingsholm Road, on Saturday have been released under investigation.
A 27-year-old man was arrested immediately after the incident, in which a man had been seen driving towards a group of people leaving the club then threatening some of them with a baseball bat.
He is being investigated for a number of offences, including possession and supply of drugs.
A 49-year-old man was arrested later on suspicion of drugs offences.
Both were taken into custody on Saturday night and, after questioning, released on Sunday as investigations continue.
The incident happened shortly after the final whistle of Gloucester's Premiership match against Wasps. Gloucester won the game 25-9.
