HERE are some of the latest magistrates' court results from the last couple of weeks.

Simon Russell, 33, of Aldergate Villa, pleaded guilty to three offences at Cheltenham magistrates' court on October 4.

The court heard how on July 7, Russell was at his flat when he 'fired missiles beyond the premises' with a BSA Lighting air rifle.

He also pleaded guilty to damaging a rear wing mirror to the value of £200, and for being in the possession of 2.75g of cannabis on the same day.

Russell was ordered to pay costs of £797.

Lee Handley, 43, of Fourth Avenue, Dursley, received a 26-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months at Cheltenham magistrates' court on October 1, after pleading guilty.

The court heard how Handley had a bill hook in his possession without good reason when he visited the Shell Garage in Cam, on April 10 this year.

Handley was also ordered to pay costs of £265.

Sara Drew, 35, of Blaisdon, Yate pleaded guilty to taking a Hyundai Tucson without the permission of the owner and driving without the correct license and insurance at Bristol magistrates' court.

She pleaded in court on October 21.

The incident took place on October 16 in Lansdown on St Briavel's Drive.

Drew was fined £140 and ordered to pay victim services charges of £90 and £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

She was also banned from driving for 6 months.

Matthew Rose, 30, of Fosseway Avenue, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham magistrates' court on October 24 to drink-driving, driving while disqualified and without insurance.

The court was told Rose was driving his 1962 Fordson tractor home from a steam and vintage vehicles show in a nearby field when he hit a dry-stone wall around the garden of a house in Eastington Road, Northleach and caused severe damage.

The defendant was found to have had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.

Magistrates banned him from driving for three and a half years, fined him £672 and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85.

Matthew Gibbon, 27, of Lewis Lane, Cirencester, pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Cheltenham magistrates' court on October 16.

He was stopped in his car on Leckhampton Hill Road, Ullenwood on June 25 this year.

The court heard how Gibbon was found to have 110 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

Gibbon was banned from driving for 13 months and ordered to pay costs of £442.

Rebecca Dunnicliff, 44, of Matson Lane, Gloucester, was found guilty of theft from Tesco in Cirencester at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 14.

The court heard how on July 29, Dunnicliff stole alcohol and food worth £389.29.

She was sentenced to 26 weeks in jail and ordered to pay costs of £207.
