Gail Bradbrook, a co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, has been arrested after staging a protest on the roof of the Department For Transport in London.
Posting on Twitter, Extinction Rebellion Bristol wrote: "Dr. Gail Bradbrook has been arrested after staging a protest on the roof of the Department For Transport.
"We call on the government to tell the truth and explain how their net-zero emissions target will remain within the UK's carbon budget."
Gail, who lives in Stroud, has been involved in numerous campaign groups in the town, and she was part of an early Extinction Rebellion roadblock in Merrywalks.
