Tricia Henderson-Ross is the current chair of Wotton Friends, who have worked tirelessly over the last 30 years to raise money for Longfield Hospice (formerly the Cotswold Care Hospice).
All the members of the group give up their time voluntarily to raise money for the hospice, which provides specialist services for adults in Gloucestershire affected by life-limiting illness.
They are now an older group but their enthusiasm has never diminished and they are as committed as they have ever been to their cause.
A number of the group have been fundraising since the group started.
Longfield, where Tricia also works as a volunteer at least once a week, is now celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Wotton Friends have raised more than £400,000 since they were founded, making Tricia a worthy winner of our Charity Fundraiser Award.
Throughout the year they put on numerous events including fashion shows, quiz nights and open gardens. They also attend charity fairs representing the hospice and wait tables for various local Freemason group events.
Stuart Dyer and Posie Stewart were runners-up.
