A charity football match to remember former chairman Trevor Horsley will be held at The New Lawn this summer.
The memorial match will take place on Sunday, May 19, and will feature An FGR Legends side made up a number of the 1998/99 FA Trophy final squad, led by iconic manager Frank Gregan, taking on a select XI picked by Trevor’s son Liam.
Gregan's side will feature former Aston Villa and England winger Tony Daley and popular striker Paul Hunt.
The match will be a 2pm kick-off, with prices set at £5 for adults and £2 for Under 16s – with all money raised going to charities Cancer Research and The Longfield Hospice.
Hospitality packages will be available for the game, as will chances to be the match and ball sponsors and programme advertising and you can contact paula.brown@fgr.co.uk for further information.
