THREE women from the same family have braved a head shave in aid of a charity which helps people affected by cancer.
Jodie Sheppard, her mum Karen Sheppard and her aunt Gina Paris popped into Rumours hair salon in Frampton on Severn for the ‘big chop’, to raise funds for Cobalt.
Gina and Jodie also wanted to take the plunge as a way of showing their support for Karen, who has has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jodie said: “Potential hair loss is something many people undergoing treatment for cancer go through and I wanted mum to know she has everyone’s full support at this difficult time.
“I decided to support Cobalt because early diagnosis has been so important for mum to start getting the treatment she needs.”
