CHURCHGOERS will be marking Good Friday with a procession of the cross in Stroud.
The annual Walk of Witness will see a large cross being carried by Christians through the town centre.
The event starts at noon at St Laurence’s Church and the procession will continue to Cornhill Market.
It will be followed by a short sung worship and refreshments at Stroud Baptist church hall.
The event symbolises the first Good Friday when Jesus was forced to carry his cross to Golgotha before being crucified.
