Local musicians are banding together to raise money for charity.
A folk and fusion concert is being held in support of youth charity The Door.
Discovery, comprising folk duo Jeff and Elaine Gillet, will be performing a mixture of traditional and contemporary folk songs accompanied on a variety of instruments.
Jeff has worked as an accompanist for several nationally renowned singers.
Anomaly will also be playing a mix of acoustic, country and soft rock originals.
Anne Townsend, community fundraiser at The Door, said: “We are extremely grateful to both Discovery and Anomaly for generously putting this concert together to raise funds for The Door.
"It should be an amazing evening. Can there really be a better way to spend a Saturday night than listening to live music?
"Money raised by the concert will go straight towards helping The Door unlock potential and open opportunities for young people and their families locally, providing often life changing support”
The concert is being held at John Street Baptist Church on Saturday, April 13.
Tickets are available for £7 on the night or in advance from The Door shop, by calling 01453 756745, or by visiting thedoor.co.uk/concert. The concert will begin at 7.30pm.
All money raised will go towards helping vulnerable young people and their families.
