There are a lot of thankful stallholders at the market as spring appears to have sprung, temperatures have increased, and that wind has stopped blowing for a couple of weeks!
Our seasonal plant stalls are all returning over the next few weeks with Down to Earth, the grow your own project, at the market this week along with Pat’s Plants in the square and Ascott Gardens, all with a variety of plants for the garden or allotment.
Julian Harvard cut flowers has the year’s first tulips and in the next few weeks we will see The Lavender Garden and Malcolm Allison plants returning.
Also back after a lengthy lay off are Naite Farm super fresh ungraded eggs who reclaim their longstanding pitch in the square.
Look out for Eccentric Gin, returning for their second market and the beginning of a regular return to the market for Baked by Beth who returns with a new range and will be selling (all vegan, gluten and refined sugar free) - raw chocolate walnut tarts, raw caramel chocolate squares, raw raspberry coconut bars, raw caramel cashew bars, granola by weight/paper packets, rose, orange and cardamom cakes and raw chocolate truffles.
As the numbers increase with the season please be reminded that we now extend down Union Street past the Organic Veg stalls.
In that area of the market you will find Salt Bakehouse, Tuga Pastries, Hempen, The Welsh Cake Lady and new vegan hot food stall Seitan’s Grill.
Plenty to look out for!
