To help families in need The Prince Albert has opened its doors to become a foodbank collection point.
The popular pub is also working with councillor Robin Layfield, who serves as a member of Rodborough Parish Council, to ensure that all donations reach those who need help.
With temperatures in freefall, the landlady at The Prince Albert, Charlotte Lotte Lyster said that "all donations are a massive help".
You can drop of food supplies at The Prince Albert in Rodborough Hill, Stroud on February 1 from 4pm and February 14 from 18.30pm.
Here is a list of food that is in high demand:
- Tea and coffee
- Tinned soup
- Tinned meat, veg, fruit and pulses
- Tinned macaroni, bolognese and curry
- Ready meals and microwave rice
- Pasta and sauces
- Rice
- Noodles
- Biscuits and crackers
- Breakfast cereal
- Long life milk and fruit juice
