Firefighters were dispatched to Dingle Farm in Uley following reports of the barn fire
A BARN fire has resulted in the evacuation of a farm in Uley.
Three fire crews from Dursley, Stroud and Wotton were dispatched this afternoon to Fiery Lane in Uley.
The barn was filled with 60 tonnes of straw and crews and the firefighting process is ongoing with crews using two jets to deal with the blaze.
A Gloucestershire Fire Service spokesman said that livestock from the farm have been moved to safety, and that the fire posed no risk to any neighbouring premises.
