PETER Bateman's family has released additional details about tomorrow's funeral service and the route that the cortege will take through Stroud.
The church service for Peter, who died following a short illness earlier this month, will be held at noon on Wednesday, 29 November at St Mary’s Church in Painswick.
Stroud will bid the popular businessman a final goodbye at 11:30am, as the funeral cortège passes Bateman’s Sports, on London Road.
For those attending the church service, Painswick Rugby Club has kindly offered their parking area, which will be clearly sign-posted for attendees.
A free mini-bus shuttle service will be available from the car park to the church from 11am.
The retiring collection will be for Cancer Research UK, or donations can be sent to Michael Gamble Funeral Directors, Station House, Station Road, Stroud, GL5 3AR.
