A FUNNY sign appeared near the Javelin Park incinerator site over the weekend.

The sign read, "Huge & Terrible Mistake," pointing directly towards the controversial Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) project.

The appearance of the sign has delighted many people who are firmly against the incinerator.

One person commented on Facebook saying: "How brilliant is that?"

Another said: "Brilliant! I'm tweeting that."

Sadly for incinerator protestors the fun was short-lived and the sign has been removed.

GCC firmly believe the incinerator will  save taxpayers over £100m, cut carbon emissions, and support their objective of 70% recycling across the county.
