NAILSWORTH Mills Bowling Club are offering Friday night taster sessions in the build up to the new season.
The sessions will be the perfect opportunity to learn the basic rules and tactics of the game whilst offering a chance to socialise by meeting other members.
Member have full use of the clubhouse and bowling green during the summer months, as well as being eligible for competitions.
A small team of club members have been working hard to keep the green in good condition during the winter, getting it ready for the re-opening on Friday, April 21.
Club Vice-President, James Chamberlain will open the season by bowling the traditional “first wood.”
Nailsworth Mills would like to stress that bowls is a game for all ages and genders and a truly family sport.
Anyone interested in the taster sessions should head to the club on Friday, April 28 at 6.15pm when coaching will be available.
