PARTS of Stroud are ‘gridlocked’ due to roadworks in Paganhill Lane.
Cainscross Road is at a standstill while there are also reports of slow-moving traffic in A4171 Paganhill Lane eastbound between Stratford Road and A46 Beeches Green.
The A419 Dudbridge Road is congested as is the B4008 Westward Road near Cainscross Roundabout.
One SNJ reader said: "Cainscross road is chock-a-block, it took me half an hour to get from one end to the other this afternoon."
According to a spokesman from Gloucestershire County Council gas mains replacements are being done over the school holidays - until April 8.
#Stroud Delays of 30 minutes on all services inbound to Stroud using Cainscross Rd. This is due to roadworks & diversion. Our apologies.
